About Coach

After falling in love with heavy lifting and the power of nutrition, Jackie “Jax” Miller woke up one day in 2016 and realized she had more to give to this world than working at a desk filling purchase orders. She quit her job, and threw everything she had at becoming an established nutrition and fitness coach. Since then she has worked with hundreds of people taking a “fitness is for everybody and every body” approach. She has fought hard in the fitness world to promote and establish inclusion, including founding and running the first gender free CrossFit competition in Denver, and heading up the LGBTQIA+ Fitness Community Group. Additionally, she sits on the board of directors for FYR Denver, as the Programming Director; a nonprofit that brings Fitness, Nutrition, and Mentorship to at-risk youth.

Turning Point

ax loves working with people on holistic wellness and nutrition, training people one-on-one, and coaching group classes. She has a deep empathy for her clients and their experiences, understanding that each journey is unique. She loves it when she can see the spark in someone’s eyes after they complete a goal they have set, and see all the potential they have held locked up in themselves.

Motivation & Passion

ax can be found in her downtime watching Avalanche hockey with her partner and son, reading with her two cats, attending local folk music shows, and of course, lifting heavy stuff and putting it back down.
