While in my last year at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, my interest in personal training as a lifestyle piqued. Just before graduating in 2011 with my Bachelor’s degree in Business I also became certified as a personal trainer through NSCA. I realized that all through my life I had a passion for physical fitness, as I naturally excelled in the athletics of choice. I thought my gifting would be put to best use by depositing into people what has flourished in me. With a wide background in physical fitness through my years in Collegiate soccer and receiving a black belt in Taekwondo, I could bring a lot to the table for others. Since my NSCA-CPT certification, I have trained individuals, groups, and teams. My focus in training is that each person discovers a newness of their physical potential. This starts with the renewing of the mind and an increased awareness of the emotional state of the heart. Through training my hope is that each person leaves with a greater understanding of who they were created to be.
Hannah is an RYT-200 certified yoga teacher in Denver, CO. Hannah fell in love with yoga, not only for the physical benefits but for its impact both on and off the mat. Hannah completed her teaching training through Kindness Yoga and is certified in Vinyasa and Restorative yoga. She carefully crafts each class to be a delicate balance between pushing through physical and mental barriers through strong, energetic holds and embracing silence and space through deep, grounding melts. Outside of the gym, Hannah loves being active and outdoors, hiking, cooking and working to connect the Denver community with local food resources.
Hello! My fitness journey began 12 years ago when I found myself 100 pounds overweight and grossly out of shape. When my daughter was born, I realized I needed to do something about my lifestyle to be healthy for her, and to be around long enough to see her grow up. Since then, I have worked hard to understand the relationship between food and movement. As an integrative nutrition health coach and CrossFit L1 trainer, I combine my love of nutrition with functional fitness to provide you with individualized programming, either in a 1 on 1 setting or in a group class setting. It’s my passion to share the journey with other people, especially those who feel lost and unsure where to start. Metamorphosis Fitness embodies the journey we all take that leads us to our healthier selves.
